Yo, Linder
I am tired of searching through my cluttered email for your address. When I see some crazy shit, I want to tell you about it, but there are TOO MANY STEPS INVOLVED in getting ahold of you. Sure, I could call, but uninterupted telly time happens between 12AM and 6AM here and I doubt you would appreciate that.
So here is your blog. It's just for you. You may share it with whomever you like. I am writing everything to you. (Althought there may be a good portion of bitching about my life I probably wouldn't bore you with over the phone or in an email......Let's pretend you live here and we see eachother all the time...OK?)
First thing I wanted to tell you:
New Ben & Jerry's Flavor
new to me, at least. Remember I live in Yakima.
Love, nicole

I have not seen this flava...too funny!!
So what's new?? How is school going? Today is my last day this quarter!!!
I don't remember if I told you or not but one of my classes this quarter was a production class. We actually shot a 16mm short film.
The script was actually pretty good, it was written by a guy in my screenwring class last quarter. It's called "The Ideal Wife" basically a guy is questioning whether he's made the right choice in marrying his wife and is given an opportunity to "dream-up" his ideal wife. If you want to know more you'll have to come over this fall when it screens.
We shot over 4 weekends, including memorial day weekend, long days 16+ hours a day, plus my other class and working full-time. Needless to say I am looking forward to doing nothing this weekend. It was a lot of work but a lot fun too. I learned a ton of stuff.
My job on the film was 1st. Asst. Director. I was responsible for breaking down the script, scheduling the shoot, doing the callsheets, wrangling extras, doing several reports including how many set-ups we did, how many scenes we shot that day, etc, and manage the set. It was great....I got to say things like "quiet on the set" and "mark the shot"
Hopefully it will turn out good, we had some pretty unexpected things for a student film. We had a Ferrari for one shot, we shot a party scene on the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower, we shot some stuff at Safeco Field, and we have a jogging scene that we shot along Lake Washington using a Steadi-Cam.
That's about all I got for now.
Jeff
